NOT even 1 star I would like to express my deep disappointment with Dr. Gary Yougang Chen MD surgeon's office located at 1513 S. Grand Ave After waiting for a month and a half to secure an appointment for my relative, MuAllifah Griffie, who does not drive, I embarked on a two-hour drive to downtown LA, only to discover upon arrival that the clinic was closed. I was truly taken aback by the astonishing lack of responsibility displayed by the administrators who failed to notify patients about the cancellation of their appointments. What made it even more surprising was the fact that my friend had received confirmation for the appointment just the day before. As a result, three of us were left stranded, frustrated, and desperately knocking on the clinic's door. The building's security guard revealed that this was not the first instance of such irresponsible behavior from this particular clinic. Fortunately, my relative did not see this surgeon, and I took the initiative to file a… complaint with Health Care LA on her behalf. They promptly referred my friend to another surgeon, and I have managed to secure an appointment for July 5th.

I called the office after several attempts I finally spoke to someone. They put me back on hold and proceeded to hang up. I called again female answer who was rude stated What do you want after I informed her previous call was ended. I proceeded to inform this woman who refused to identified herself the reason I was calling. She told me that Dr. Chen does not accept straight Medical, I told her it was a referral she said "so, I not responsible for who referred you" she hung up the phone when I was mid sentence. I work for a big hospital in NY and customer service is very important to the Hospital no matter what insurance a patient may have. Yoi treat people with courtesy and respect. Awful experience

Great surgeon , I wish I could give Dr Chen 10 stars I highly recommend this surgeon !

Dr. Chen is an awesome doctor I was nervous at first but he called me down explain the procedure and he did an awesome job. His staff needs to work on front office courtesy they're really nice people they're just overwhelmed with a lot of work they need a supervisor to be present. I would recommend my handsome doctor Chen to anyone.

no one answers the phone

The whole staff is incompetent nobody seems to know what they are doing. Jesus, christina, grizelda and most important the asian supervisor who hung up on me after bn on hold for 24 min. Stay away from this office

Nothing is done right, this place is a crime. Shame on you all.
