Dr. Gary Leslie Craig, MD

I absolutely love Dr Craig. I am so sad that he has retired because I know I will never find a rheumatologist as good as him. I have been seeing Dr Craig for 20+ years.

I began seeing Dr. Craig in the early 90's. I've since moved out of state and have never, ever, never found another with his knowledge, compassion and guidance. I am actually considering moving back, just so I know I will be treated professionally for my Lupus. No one else has lived up to the bar he set with my care.

So lucky to have him as my doctor!! Have had him since 1966.

I feel Dr. Craig is an outstanding physician. He was able to accurately diagnose my auto-immune disease and as a result has made a total turn-around in my quality of life.

He listens to his patients, very caring, extremely intelligent, takes more than enough time to answer all questions, a wonderful educator, and he makes one feel like you are getting the best possible care. Follow up is not his responsibility esp. with the amount of patients he cares for. He has nurse practioners that I can see if I need to.He a winner!!

I have been a patient of his since 1995. I am so blessed to have him. Never in a hurry, a great teacher, can get into see him without any problem. Debbie calls me back quickly with an answer to my question. They are an awesome team. He is the smartest doctor and one can see that he truly loves what he does. Love him.

He always took his time and listened to concerns. His nurse Debbie is outstanding.

Dr. Craig is a very good Rheumatologist if you can get in to see him. Being a patient of his for about 5 years, I've only been able to see him 4 of the last 8 scheduled apointments. Having to schedule aprox. 6 months out to see him makes it dificult and because the office has called and canceled my last three apointments with him due to his schedule changes, It means another 4-6 months to rescheduled with him. If your need is more immediate or you require more frequent follow up, I'd look for another Dr.

It is very difficult to get an appt. with Dr. Craig. When an appt. is finally able to be obtained, he does spend ample time during the visit, and, performs a very thorough exam. Follow-up, however, is poor. Dr. Craig does not call patients back. All communication is handled thru his medical assistants, no matter how complex the case is. Debbie, one of his medical assistants, has demonstrated unprofessional communication on at least 2 occasions. Finally, I believe a patient should be able to speak directly to his doctor, esp. when it concerns test results.

I love Dr. Craig. He has been my son's doctor for his RA for 15 years. Even after my son left home he would fly back to Spokane for his visits. He's worth the wait!
