Dr. Gary Lynn Cushing, MD

Dr. Cushing is a wonderful caring and very capable doctor who has been treating me for Crohn's Disease for years. My only regret is that he no longer has office hours in Templeton...but, he's worth the ride to SLO.

I found receptionist very rude. Asking questions that should be Dr. Patient information. Took over 2 months to get an appointment and another 4 months to get a colonoscopy scheduled. If this is the way this office operates...and it apparently is...no matter how much I like and respect Dr. Cushing my family and Il will not be returning to this office.

Very nice staff ,professional and friendly..answered all my questions .everyone was compassionate and helped decrease my anxiety about colonoscopy

Just called to set up an appointment and the receptionist was very rude. She acted perturbed when she answered and made me feel like an idiot when I was asking questions. I finally had to tell her I would have to call someone else.

Dr Cushing saved me from bleeding to death and losing my colon.

After 5 diagnoses and numerous tests over 7 years I continued to have severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and bad right side pain. I called to make an appointment and Dr. Cushing said he would not see me, that he had done all he could for me. I called to make an appointment with another doctor within their medical group. He also denied seeing me Dr. Cushing may have told him am I a problem patient for what reason I don't know. Instead of referring me to get further diagnostic tests to some place like UCLA or Stanford he abandoned me as my doctor. I feel like he DID'NT do all he could for my healths sake.
