Dr. Gary Harold Dwight, MD

Nothing was explained to me as far as financial responsibility. I should note that this was the first dental visit as an "adult". Now 2 years later i have a debt that i owe to this office for certain parts of the procedure that my insurance did not cover, which is fine most of the time. However in this case it was for x-rays which they already been taken a week prior to the appointment. Since my insurance only covers an x-ray every few months, i was responsible for the payment... The staff was all rude, and when i signed these financial documents i was under the influence of prescription drugs that they had prescribed to me prior to the appointment. although they deny this and tend to change the story multiple times. I had a witness there with me, since i was not able to drive myself to this appointment because i was on the prescribed medication which impaired my ability to drive (and sign financial documents). Overall, after all of this i ended up accepting the responsibility of my… ignorance. i should have known i was responsible for the bill that my insurance would not cover, HOWEVER if there was transparency between patient and doctor ALL of this could have been avoided. If i had been told specifically what they were doing and what the repurcutions were, maybe i would have reconsidered my choice. Nonetheless i will not shift the blame of my ignorance and i will chuck it up as a $400+ lesson. Terry, the "main office nurse" was incredibly rude. She also stated that this happens a lot to 18 and 19 year olds, but when i asked if they had reconsidered their approach she denied and laughed. She also insulted me (multiple times) about the fact that my mother would not pay this bill and laughed, she also mentioned that she felt bad for me that my mother would not take care of this for me. overall i would highly recommend you avoid this place.

Excellent! Staff and doctor very attentive, get explanations, and follow up. True concern about patient comfort level. Does not pull pushes.

Took great care of my husband. Came to him after another person in town wanted to do a $5000 extraction. Dr. Dwight was much more reasonable!

The finest dentist I have had since my other dentist in 1963. He and his staff are truly an amazing team! I have never had the kind of service they provide.

The absolute most pleasant experience I have ever had concerning my teeth. I was in terrible pain and had always had bad experiences with dentists. Gary was quick, to the point, and personable. No pain at all after the surgery. Awesome doesn't begin to describe his service.

Do NOT go to Dr. Dwight. He is not only rude and disrespectful, but arrogant and pompous. I did not want ANOTHER X-ray of the same tooth done (after having had it X-rayed 10 times before) and told Dr. Dwight this. He immediately told me that we got off on the wrong foot and wouldn't treat me - even after I said ok, go ahead with the X-ray. UNbelievable! Doctors are supposed to care for their patients NOT send them away without an explanation! SO RUDE and inconsiderate - BAD Doctor!! DO NOT GO TO HIM.
