Dr. Gary D Dylewski, DO

When I went to Dr Dylewski's office, I expected to dislike him. I have little use for theories and ideals that only work in controlled settings. Dr Dylewski took us from walking speed (in terms of our relationship skills) to freeway speed in the span of 3 - 4 meetings. His guidance probably saved my marriage. I give him the highest marks . . . if your heart is open, you'll be different after meeting w/ Dr Dylewski.

I walked in thinking I had some mental disease and left three years latter with the meditation tools and eons! Of spirtual growth that I haven't seen with masters. This is a man who can guide towards spirtual mastery!

He is overpriced and apparently cares only about money, like many doctors. I felt a lot worse after seeing him and flushing $325 down the toilet. There are better providers for much less money.

Dr. Dylewski is not for everyone. Someone looking for a traditional approach should go elsewhere. That said, his training in a number of fields is superb, and his compassion outstanding. He was a huge help to our family in a difficult time of transition. He was able to connect to our children in extraordinary fashion, and gave us all support that helped us make rapid and profound changes in our lives. He was followed up with us and gave us support in our dealings with schools and other matters as they emerged. I cannot recommend him highly enough to a person who wants a more holistic approach.

Dr. Gary Dylewski has had a wonderful ability to identify the obstacles preventing me from experiencing health and happiness in my life. He uses traditional cognitive therapy strategies and holistic & spiritual approaches, unusual, but very effective. When I began therapy my life was controlled by seemingly uncontrollable attacks of narcolepsy. As we began to examine when and where the narcolepsy hit, we began to unravel the mechanism behind the sleepy defense. Within a year the occurrences have gone from 4-5 times a day to once every few months. Becoming aware of the psychological hang-ups behind the physical symptom, I am able to move forward instead of remaining stuck and immobilized. Dr. D has helped me learn to accept and appreciate who I am and where I have been. In doing so I am starting to live life more fully and joyfully. Dr. D may not be the right therapist for everyone, but I have referred many people to him and all have been amazed at his ability to help them improve their… lives and create a future vision of their lives filled with hope instead of despair.

You walk into a poorly decorated hippy den, are greeted by an unprofessional assistant then listen to his weird spititual ideas that are out of this world. when time comes to leave he asks for $300 for 1 hour of talking about salvador dali. He should be working at a hippy camp in the mtns not in orange county.

He is an amazing Doctor! He is through, effective and absolutely the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. Because of him I can live my daily life much more easily.

Very personable and caring individual, however, his holistic views get in the way of treating individuals who are truly struggling with mental illness. He is more suited for patients with minor emotional issues than those with serious mental illness.

Dr. Dylewski offers something special I have not come across with other psychiatrists. Though he is well trained in the latest psychotropic medications, he is exceptionally skilled in alternate types of treatments used to address several types of disorders. He is punctual and flexible in his scheduling of appointments. His staff is friendly and helpful. His charismatic and compassionate demeanor is a bonus to his skill and patient commitment.
