Dr. Gary J. Elkin, MD

I have been using Dr.Elkins for several years now and have been very satisfied with the care. He and his staff are very professional and helpful.

My mom has seen this man a couple of times, neither of us care for him. I believe he schedules appointments when something needs to have a payment due such as a boat or car. He is so full of himself that the patient care is the last thing on his mind. Thank God only one more visit with him and we will be moving to a new Dr. make this one count Dr Elkins because you will not get anymore of my moms insurance money.

Impressed with his own importance rather than the care of a patient.

Had Dr Elkin been prepared for our visit he would not have made the inappropriate comment he did. I have begun to take charge of who I want to care for me and arrogance is the first turnoff. A competent physician will exude an air of some concern in healing the patient but Dr Elkin is more impressed with his importance than his patient’s health. I have declined to continue to be treated by him and have chosen a more caring physician in the same practice.

Dr. Elkin has been my cardiologist for over 11 years. I have never seen him without a smile on his face and a cheerful word. Apart from being a skilled doctor he is a tremendous human being. Pleasant, thoughtful, considerate and self-sacrificing. It is not often a patient actually looks forward to a doctor visit but with Dr. Elkin it is so. I always feel energized after having been to see him.

This is a great insightful caring Doctor. Has cared for my heart for 12 years. 3 stints and an angioplasty. Highly recommend his team!!!!
