Dr. Gary S Evans, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr Evans for several years. I feel extremely confident in his conservative treatments. I first saw him when I had a broken foot. He x-rayed it and put it in a boot. In time, it healed. I’ve seen him for care of my plantar fasciitis. He made me a good pair of orthotics. He is always smiling and greets me by name. I feel like he sees me as a person rather than a case.

Went to Dr Evans with heel pain. Did not even offer me a cortisone shot. Told me I had Plantars fasciitis , wrap up my foot and gave me a boot. Two weeks later still in a lot of pain he gave me a cortisone shot that did not help. Went back again two weeks later, and he said he wanted to wait three more weeks before he gave me another shot. Talked him into giving me the shot, but it never helped the pain. Finally I went to another doctor who did an ultra sound, and saw where my inflammation was, and told me that doctor Evans was giving me the shot in the wrong area of my heel. Imagine that. Finally I am on my recovery, because he also told me to get physical therapy. I also Think Dr Evans has very slow healing techniques, and just wants you to keep coming back.
