SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED PAIN SPECIALIST. He is a complete lie and not a real pain management doctor. Do NOT go to Dr. Frankowski if you are needing a pain specialist or pain management dr. He does not believe in prescribing pain medication no matter what condition or disorder you have. If you are taking ANY pain medication he will make you sign a letter stating that you will no longer take any pain medication no matter what kind of pain you are in. The office visit was a little over 300.00 dollars and the urine test was over 450.00 dollars!!! I have never in my life been to someone like this that is so uncaring and looks down at you for coming to him thinking that he is a pain management doctor, when in fact, all he wants to do is get you to NEVER use pain medication at all even when your PCP has sent a referral stating you need pain management. I had two different referrals from a surgeon and my regular PCP and he still did NOT care. I have also never been… anywhere to any doctor where they charge you over 450.00 dollars just for a urine test. So please BEWARE!! This place is a scam! I should have known he wasn't a good doctor when the two times that I went, there was never anyone in the waiting area. There needs to be more caring pain management doctors out there. People are coming to you because they are in pain and need help, have some compassion for patients. I have a birth defect, and over 4 other disorders and should not have to leave a doctors office in tears because they have no heart, I'm sure if these doctors ever had to deal with the things we deal with, then it would be totally different. But it didn't matter what I was going through or dealing with, this so called pain specialist only specializes in making judgments on people who are in serious pain. I thought for doctors it was "First do no harm"...but not for this so called doctor. If he ever reads this then have some compassion for you patients and LISTEN to them, we know our bodies better than anyone and the numerous MRI's and paper work from and actual surgeon and another doctor should have been enough for you to understand what kind of pain people are in, and Second, pain medication is NOT a bad thing especially when it is needed. I know there are people out there who abuse there prescriptions, but there are also patients who don't and patients who actually benefit from them, they are able to live a somewhat normal life and don't always have to use a wheelchair or a cane everywhere they go. I believe you are in the wrong line of work. There will be a day when it will be you on the other side, you will need pain medication for something and I truly hope you get the same courtesy you bestow up on the people you've turned your back on.

I expected to receive pain MGMNT from the dr, however he only performs steroid injections in your spine. I had this done previously with a diff dr and it didn't help. These shots didn't help either. Now I have to find another doctor. I am looking for someone that uses pain pumps or medication patches for 'round the clock pain relief. Also, some of the office staff can be rude.
