Dr. Gary Neal Furness, MD

Dr. Gary Furness has been our family doctor for many years because he delivers compassionate, very knowledgable healthcare. Specialists, nurses and pharmacists in our county will tell you that he has the highest reputation for integrity and ethics. He cares a great deal for his patients and it shows in his thorough, unrushed appointments. His staff is always professional and helpful. I can't say enough about this wonderful Doctor that has made such a difference in my family's health.

Dr Furness sees each patient for a very brief time which is fine if not having a complicated health problem. He only does a detailed and comprehensive physical the first time. At my annual physical after not seeing him for a year, he ran out the door before I could bring up even one concern. He won't pay for a skilled medical assistant to take patients to the room, get vitals and ask chief complaint. He lets young adults with minimal skills write on his online charts, and he doesn't take the time to keep accurate records on which meds taking, what reason taking for or accurate diagnoses because he sees a new patient every 10-15 minutes. Never have to wait in his office, if that is most important to you.
