Dr. Gary Raymond Gize, MD

Dr. Gize has been amazing throughout treating my mother & now my husband. His bed side manner is unmatched. He is, hands down, the most compassionate, down to earth, intelligent oncologist I've ever had contact with, & I've met quite a few.

From the moment Dr Gize walked into our room when my husband was blindsided with Leukemia nearly 3 years ago until today, he continues to be an amazing physician. His bedside manner is unlike any doctor we have ever encountered. He is personable, down to earth, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. We've had to endure the worst, but we're thankful that we've had Dr. Gize guiding us through it all. I can't say enough about him and what a wonderful person and physician he is.

Dr. Gize is a humble caring doctor. He cares first and foremost about the patient. His treatment regimen is explained well. He encourages you to ask questions. He will devote his knowledge and energy to healing you.

Dr. Gize spent all the time it took for my father to understand his diagnosis. The past weeks have revealed several health issues and it had become overwhelming for my father to put the pieces together. First, Dr. Gize allowed enough time for my dad to retrace the lead up to the recent events. Then, the doctor took all the time needed to explain the lab results, draw pictures of the cells and explain treatment options. The explanation and treatment were comforting but clearing up confusion is probably the most comforting thing a person can do for another; Dr. Gize did this and we are very appreciative of our first visit with him.

Dr. Gize is extremely compassionate, has a great bedside manner, and truly cares about his patients. I've been his patient for 16 years, and knock on wood, still cancer free!

Excellent doctor, very personable and caring. One of the few that will spend all the time necessary to get your questions answered. Will go out of his way to find an answer if he does not have one or will double check. Just an excellent doctor

I have read some of the reviews and can must comment. When my husband was told that with stage 4 had maybe one year we sought out Dr. Gize. His knowledge, concern, thoughtfulness and determination gave us not only hope but 3 1/2 years together. The waiting for an appt. could be due to his desire to answer any questions rather than pushing you out the door to see his next patient. Or maybe its the scheduling dept.?
