Dr. Glasband has presented various dental techniques and lectures to other dental practitioners. He has appeared as a speaker in front of the Harbor Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. In 1998 he was recognized by Toastmaster’s International as the winner of their prestigious “International Speech Contest” taking top honors over 500 speakers.

Dr. Glasband’s achievements in the profession are numerous and started early in his career. While working towards the completion of his doctorate at U.C.S.F., Dr. Glasband’s instructors awarded him membership in to the Student Clinicians of the American Dental Association. Dr. Glasband went on to assume a leadership role in organized dentistry at the local, state and national levels. His commitment to his peers is culminated by his acceptance to the office of President of the …harbor Dental Society, a component dental society of both the California and American Dental Associations. Dr. Glasband continues to sit on numerous professional boards and committees, all of which are dedicated to the betterment of dentistry and the advancement of quality care for all patients.

Our dental practice is only an extension of Dr. Glasband’s overall commitment to service. Dr. Glasband is a past president of the Long Beach Optimist Club. Dr. Glasband is also in service to the people of the world through his volunteer service. As a member of the Flying Samaritans, Dr. Glasband volunteers his dental talents to aid those in Mexico who would have no other way to receive dental services. Dr. Glasband and his entire staff express their commitment to the service of others though out ongoing participation in your dental health. “Dentistry is an opportunity to make a positive difference in the world.”
