His anesthesia residency includes 2 years atthe Naval Hospital San Diego and one year at New York University in New York city. Subsequently, he practiced 3 yrs at Camp Pendleton, which included 8 months in the Persian Gulf during 1990-91. He joined ASMG in 1991 and has been practicing at Scripps-Mercy Hospital since 1992.
