Dr. Gary Lamar Goodyear

I saw Dr. Goodyear for 12 years -- the only dentist I saw throughout my childhood -- but I recently switched dentists. I have consistently gone for my 6 month cleanings, in addition to appointments for cavity removal. I do not drink sugary drinks now, but I did as a child and have had several cavities filled by Goodyear. In my very first appointment with the new dentist, it was found via x-ray that I have 11 cavities that have been SEALED OVER. I was told that since I have had sealants and fluoride at Goodyear, there are no cavities that "stick", but x-rays show I have an abundance of cavities that were sealed over by my prior dentist. I was shown the x-rays, and sure enough, there they were. I have not gotten cavities filled/sealed for several years, so the 11 cavities must've been around for at least 4 years, but went "undetected" through Goodyear. The conflicting opinions of Goodyear and Tram on my teeth is what prompted the switch among dentists, and I'm glad it did, as I now need… 6 hours worth of fillings and this would've continued to be ignored by Goodyear.

Love Dr. Goodyear. He's got a gentle hand, good bedside manner, won't go to anyone else.
