Scottsdale Oral Surgeon, Dr. Gary M. Gradke received his undergraduate education at the University of Arizona. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1971with his D.D.S. degree. After serving two years in the U.S. Army, He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston Texas. While at Texas, he received a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. He also completed a four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the same institution. He opened his private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1977 and has continued in that practice to the present day.
Dr. Gradke is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, The Arizona Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Western Society of Oral and …Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 1979.
Dr. Gradke has practiced all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the past. He currently has a special interest in dental implantology and dentoalveolar surgery. He is well versed in treating temporomandibular joint conditions with conservative therapies and consults with many patients with these problems.
In the past, he was an active staff member at Scottsdale Healthcare-north and served on the surgery committee. He is a life member of the Scottsdale Charros. His current interest outside of dentistry is flyfishing. He has traveled to three continents pursuing this hobby. He previously was an active participant in the Arizona Cutting Horse Association where he was president in1987. He was fortunate to have won two World Championships as a rider of his cutting horse in 1985 and 1986
Dr. Gradke has been married to his wife Paula for 34 years. They have three sons and have five wonderful grandchildren.
