Dr. Gary Greenspan

Gary Greenspan, D.D.S.
Dr. Greenspan, a general dentist who has been practicing with Dental Associates for 27 years, particularly enjoys cosmetic, endodontic, crown and bridge, and pediatric dentistry.  Dr. Greenspan is a longstanding member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.  He was recently acclaimed as one of the top dentists in the Washington D.C. area by Washington Consumers Checkbook magazine, and has previously lectured for local Rotary and Lions Clubs.
A native of Southern California, he received his B.S. from the University of California at Irvine before coming east to earn a D.D.S. degree in 1981 from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Dr. Greenspan also taught at the school for five years as a pre-clinical instructor in the Department of Operative Dentistry.
He and his wife, Ellyn, live in Chantilly.  Ellyn previously taught special education in the Fairfax County Public School …system, and presently teaches at the Beth Emeth Early Childhood Center in Herndon.  They have two children, Jenna and Ethan.  Jenna recently graduated from the University of Virginia, while Ethan attends Virginia Commonwealth University. 
In his spare time, Dr. Greenspan enjoys playing basketball, following the Dodgers and the Hoyas, listening to classical music, and maintaining his yard as meticulously as his patients’ teeth.
