Dr. Gary Irvin Greenwald, MD

On my first visit to Dr. Greenwald (20 years ago) I could not breath thru my nose. With in a 40 minute visit he had me breathing and made my life a whole lot easier. I had been to over 30 doctors in LA, specialist so they said, and not one was able to do for me what Dr. Greenwald has done. I am so very grateful to have him as my doctor. He also has the best office staff of any medical team here in the desert.

I started seeing Dr. Greenwald 8 years ago, He is thorough, caring and oh so smart. I am thankful to have found someone who truly listens and gives honest clear direction. His staff is also wonderful. Very caring and mindful of your time. Highly recommend this doctor!!!

I have had allergy and asthma problems my whole life. Because of this, I have seen so many allergists and lung specialists. Dr. Greenwald is the best of all of them. He is extremely thorough, smart and nice. He figured out the ideal treatment for me, and I am doing better than I have ever done in the past. The staff is also terrific. Dr. Greenwald is involved in research on new asthma medicines and I did really great on one of these new drugs in one of the programs, and I didn't have to pay for it. I have recommended Dr. Greenwald to all my friends with allergies or asthma.

Dr. Greenwald explained everything, reviewed all the issues. I have been struggling with my allergies and asthma for many years, and no one had explained the issues so well. I have been on treatment now for 4 months, and am dramatically improved. I have required my quick-fix inhaler almost not at all now. He figured out 2 contributing problems, and when they were addressed, I improved significantly. The staff is extremely responsive and kind. Most competent doctor I have seen.

Bad information from Dr. Greenwald. His nurse told me to get a sling, put arm in it, after received a pneumonia vaccine, and had a bad reaction. Arm swelled up a lot, he said to keep ice on it, continuously. I went to Urgent Care, and they said NEVER ice it longer then 15 minutes, it can cause frost bite, and break down the tissue. I was told he was calling in a Z pack on Monday, It's Wednesday, and I am sick as ever, and NO prescription called in at all. He will NEVER talk to you on the phone. Acts like a primadonna. Never shares tests results with you either. Beverly was nasty to me after telling her about the WRONG information given to me. Old equipment, nothing up to date, and doctor acts like he's too good to converse with you regarding your ailments. He has incompetent staff call me with bad information.

Dr Greenwald was the only doctor to cure my coughing! I coughed four or five time a minute for over one year. I saw sever al doctors including a pulmonologist and had every test possible before I went to Dr Greenwald. After seeing Dr Greenwald and following his treatment I coughed NO MORE. I'm very thankful to have found him.

Very caring, courteous & thorough. Explains things so that the average person can understand. And the office staff is just the same.
