Dr. Gary Edward Gries, MD

My wife has suffered from multiple UTIs a year for decades. After seeing her physician (again) and taking the prescribed antibiotic she didn’t improve and was referred to the ER where we met Dr. Gries. He asked us about a scan in my wife’s records taken 7 years ago. No one brought this to our attention nor referred us to a specialist. Dr. Gries not only took the time with us to discuss my wife’s health and dove into her records to find out why she keeps having problems, but he explained things clearly to us and made the proper referral. For the first time in years I feel like we actually met with a physician who cares and not just someone who needed to clear out the waiting room! Thank you Dr. Gries! Seriously, how could this have been overlooked for 7 years?

Dr. Gries knew exactly what to do for our mother. She was brought into the ER with a heart attack. If it weren't for him, she would have had an entirely different outcome. We owe him everything. Thank you, Dr. Gries, more than we can express.

Very nice, genuinely concerned when visited. Took time to listen! Told me to come back if not satisfied with follow up doc.

Being a TH team member, the AIDET was not very good, and all I remember about him was that when he came in he told us that he was very smart and great at what he did. I thought he was very arrogant and was not personable.

I saw Dr. Gary Gries for a persistent cough and sore throat that was keeping me up at night. Although I felt it just needed to run it's course, I was in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and it was a holiday weekend, so felt I should get a professional opinion. While the Dr was nice, I did not go to an urgent care to self diagnose whether I had strep or to get a z pack, "just in case." Dr Gries also gave me information about medication that conflicted with info provided by my OB. I double checked on this information after my urgent care appointment and feel confident in the information provided by my OB. The above information is not even the worst part of my visit, but it was so comical that I'm not going to elaborate. I would not recommend visiting Gary E Gries or TriHealth Priority Care on Beechmont Avenue.

Dr Gries was the only Doctor at Bethesda North that listened to my husband and managed his pain. He took the time with him to realize that it was serious and needed to be dealt with quickly--- I don't know where we'd be without him. Thank you!!!
