Dr. Gary Joseph Gustafson, MD

I went to the ER this evening because I tested positive on two home pregnancy tests. I have been bleeding for three weeks, but my gyn wasn't worried. . Dr. Gustafson came in to listen to my history (which is complicated) and cut me off, giving me the impression he didn't care or want to hear me out. Then he popped in later telling me that my urine test was negative, that my bloodwork was still going and he would come back with results. He never came back, the nurse came in and just discharged me. So I have no idea why my home tests were positive and I've been bleeding. I've had an ectopic before, but in Philly in 2011. Not the best care again at this hospital.

Do not ever accept treatment from this doctor. He refused during an ER visit, in the middle of flu season, to properly test. He wouldn't listen to my bfs chest, look in his nose, look in his throat, or look in his ears. He raised his voice, inappropriately slammed his hands on my bfs legs and ankles, and refused to swab for influenza or strep. He made a disgnosis that he had a very rare syndrome with little to no actual evidence, when we questioned him and asked for answers he raised his voice louder. He's lucky we are not confrontational people, another person probably would've knocked him out for touching him like that.

Very nice and efficient ER doctor.
