Dr. Gary A Gwertzman, MD

Went to this doctor b/c my issue was urgent and the recommended Dr., Dr. Baldwin, was not immediately available. He advised a scan, I was seeing my PC physician in two days and wanted a second opinion, and he agreed. Called Gwertzman's office to get the script, which had to come from him for insurance reasons, if course. Left detailed message. No call back. Called again, talked to Richard, the office admin. and left the message with him for the Dr. and still no follow-up. Again, my issue was urgent. Called again, got voicemail again during office hours, left detailed message. Still no call back. Between calls and messages and waiting for call-backs this went on for two weeks. Did I mention that this was urgent? This is the worst, most unprofessional and incompetent doctors office I have ever encountered. DO NOT go to Dr. Gwertzman for anything. I wouldn't trust him or his staff to handle my lunch order, let alone a possibly life-threatening medical condition. Are people still going… to South America for a medical degree? If so, Dr. Gwertzman must be one of those untrustworthy and negligent doctors, perhaps criminally so. Be glad you've had the benefit of this warning - I wish I had.
