Dr. Gary Joseph Kanter, MD

Dr kanter was average when it came to my pregnancy, but after I had my daughter he pushed birth control, specifically assure on me. My concerns were ridiculous to him and he never really answred my questions, just boasted about essure and how it's the best option for me. Now 3 years later, still having horrible periods, cramping daily, developed ovarian cysts, and have a constant discharge that smells awful. Now I have issues trusting any health care professional

I was questioned by the nurse about symptoms. I told her I had a miscarriage at HOME. She wrote it on the BACK of my chart, which he clearly didn't read. He smugly told me that my excessive bleeding was due to early menopause (I was 35!!). He was rude. I never went back to him. I had a baby two years later, and 13 years later had a hysteroscopy to remove quite a large polyp that was causing the bleeding that had started when I was 35. I will never go back to him. One time was all it took.

He was rude. He was rough. He was arrogant. He was unprofessional in examing to the point of being abusive. Would never recommend him to anyone including an animal.
