Dr. Gary V Karakashian, MD

Dr K is by far the smartest and most talented doctor I have ever met. Came to him for a second opinion about a mole I had and thank goodness I did. It was Basel cell and my other dermatologist said it didn’t need to be biopsied or removed. I’m so grateful to Dr K. There is a good reason why he is so busy. Because he is that good. I’ve read some of these reviews and the complaints. All I can say you need to know your insurance. A lot of policies will not allow a dr to take off more than one mole at a time. Caveat Emptor people.

The billing dept. is the worst !!!! Keeps trying to bill customers instead of billing Insurance company . Tried talking to them and they hung the phone up on me ! They say you don't have insurance even if you present a valid card at appointment . I asked if they would send me the rejection and they will not . Do not pay up front ,that's what you have Insurance for . I have had other claims processed with my insurance company with no problems . I have called my Insurance company and they do not show any claims !

Dr. Karakashian is an EXCELLENT physician. I have been going to Dr. K for more than 10 years for dermatology but have recently started with fillers. There is a reason Allergan, the maker of Botox, give him the status of Master Injector. He is so artistic that I get better results with less product now with Dr. K. Reading some of the other reviews, it is obvious people do not know the crap insurance they buy into. Most insurance policies only allow a doctor to remove one mole at a time--caveat emptor, people!!!

Dr. Gary Karakashian, M.D. is the cream of the crop! I have been a patient for 25+ years! We moved out of state, and I drive over five hours for his amazing dermatology care! Dr. Gary K.’s skilled surgical hands are phenomenal. His caring mannerisms are one of a kind! Goes above and beyond in explaining any procedure that is required/ requested. Dr.G. Karakashian is truly a phenomenal person and doctor! Remember, patience is a virtue...

I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Karakashian. I am a 42 yr old woman and started doing Botox and Fillers recently. I’ve seen Dr. Karakashian a couple of times now- and he is simply wonderful! I was so nervous, but the results are amazing and so natural. He takes the time to listen and explains everything in detail and tells you exactly what to expect. I was looking to get a natural-refreshing look and he did just that! His prices are very fair and the girls at his practice are always so helpful and pleasant. Love my results and I won’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Karakashian is the whole package. His pleasant, warm and upbeat bedside manner is rivaled only by his METICULOUS attention to detail and skilled precision. I am delighted with the care I receive and his knack for keeping me looking 'fresh' and 'natural.'

I have been a patient of Dr. Karakashian for more than 20 years. He is hands down the most brilliant dermatologist I have ever come across. He is so knowledgeable about all things from skin cancer to Injectables and practically everything in between. I have referred him to numerous friends who have become regular patients and drive from over an hour away to be treated by him. His bedside manner is off the charts. He treats each and every patient as if he has all the time In the world, despite his fully packed waiting room. He genuinely cares about every patient and their individual needs. I am a skin cancer survivor and have even recently started bringing my teenage children to him for skin checks, etc. He's even better with them! I wouldn't think of ever going anywhere else.

Took my teen for acne. Doctor came in and didn't introduce himself. I thought he was a tech. Started scraping at my kids forehead, it was obviously painful. Prescribed a cream and when I went to pick it up the pharmacist warned me not to use it on my kid. Office was dirty and people were rude and disorganized.

Money hungry- tries to force patients to take off one mole at a time to make more money. Had a bloody rag hanging out of his medical waste bin! Couldn’t believe that! Should have his medical license revoked

All he cares about is doing extra procedures to make sure he makes more money. He must’ve told me 40 moles that needed to come off. Thank gd all came back normal but he obviously got paid nicely by insurance. It’s all he cares about. Should have his license taken away!!
