Dr. Gary Lee Lefer, MD

If you want a doctor who will give you any pill you want-no questions asked- go for it. He knows I had a drug problem but gave me whatever I wanted anyway because he made it really clear he found me attractive. He is a total pill mill. If you’re a girl, don’t go at all because he sexually harassed me ad nauseasm. Would compliment my figure constantly. I remember I was one time crying about something traumatic that happened and he interrupted and said “I don’t get why you Don’t like it when I compliment your body.” He would constantly tell me about his personal life to impress me. I don’t care if my doctor dated a playboy model or has lots of famous friends! He would tell me he dated a playboy model who would show off her nipples AT LEAST every other session. Had no reason to tell me-he just wanted to. And he would interject with these brags in the middle of conversations that had nothing to do with the subject at all. And he has no problem telling other patients’ private info if it’s a… good story-again he’d just tell me these stories to impress me and they had nothing to do with what we were talking about. If you have to think twice about wearing yoga pants to see your doctor because he’ll inevitably compliment them (while his wife is in the other room), he’s creepy and predatory! Seriously I’ve gotten less creepy treatment when out at bars surrounded by frat guys while on Halloween wearing lingerie as a costume. How is he licensed to practice? So awful and I still am dealing with the trauma to this day. This is honestly the tip of the iceberg with him. I could write a dissertation on all the creepy, over-the-line things he’s said to me.

Dr. Lefer is kind, gentle and supportive. We talked and he was the first stable, real adult I knew. I was adopted by 2 Hollywood people whose insanity was revealed by my search for my own inner peace. They stole all my money, stole $160,000. from their other 2 adopted children, and if not for Dr. Lefer's steady caring ways, I might be dead from having no connection to the truth. I am really grateful for the three years we chatted about my life and singing and writing and adventures at NYU. Parents who have no honesty, capability of caring for children should not be allowed to adopt, as they use and abuse and drug their children, just so they can write books about how rewarding being a parent is.
