My experience with Dr. Mathews was not good. this was my fourth visit to Breast center of Acadiana and the first time I saw Dr. Mathews . I was there for another follow up. He came in and said its PROBABLY A CYST. I am like is it a cyst are not ,Probably doesn't cut the mustard with me. THEN HE SAYS I WANT TO SEE YOU IN 6 MONTHS FOR ANOTHER FOLLOW UP. THEN HE SAYS IF THATS ALL GOOD WHEN YOU TURM 40 I WANT TO SEE YOU EVERY YEAR. SO I TELL HIM IM 47 . THEN HE GOES OFF HE SAYS OH WOW YOU RE 47 YOU LOOK GOOD AND HE JUST KEPT ON. THE NUSRE THAT WASIN ROOK WITH ME LOOKED AT HIM LIKE HE HAD LOST HIS MIND AND SHE COULDNT BELIEVE HIS BEHAVIOR. I WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE . SO AT THIS POINT IM READY TO LEAVE. THEN I START THINKING HE DOESNT KNOW MY AGE, DID HE EVEN LOOK AT MY CHART ARE COMPARE MY IMAGES FROM LAST THREE TIMES I WAS HERE. NOPE, I WILL NOT BE BACK. IM ALSO FILING A COMPLAINT . HIS LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM SURPRISES ME . I DEFINATELY DONT WANT NONE OF MY FRIENDS ARE FAMIL TO DEAL WITH… SOMEONE LIKE THAT.
