Dr G Grady Mcbride

I left in tears his office. I am myself a medical care provider and i have never seen a doctor as arogant as Dr. Mcbride. God forbit if you ask him a question, he gets very defensive and literally has the audacity to ask my husband when he asked him a question" where he got his medical degree". How rude and absolutely unacceptable. This doctor does not know how to explain things at all, you leave his office totally confused and have no clue what your plan of care is going to be. Good doctor discuss results of MRI, he is not capable to explain it. I had to put my medical experience in practice, so i actually can understand what he is saying because he is not capable to explain anything. His assessment skills are horrible. He barely listens or assess the patient. When asked questions, all he says" get the second opinion". I would never ever recommend him to anybody. I was not a surgical case, so i was not important or good enough for his time. It looks like that most of his positive… reviews are from the people that had surgeries done. He can be a great surgeon, but i would never allow him to operate on me, simply for the fact that he does not talk to the patients more than couple minutes and refuses to answer their questions.

Since I was 17, I suffered from lower back pain. In recent years (40 now) my leg was numb and I couldn't stand up for more than a minute. My activity got less and less. Dr. McBride recommended fusion surgery on my L4/L5 and L5/S1. He met with my insurance company to set them straight. I'm six months out from surgery now and I have no pain whatsoever. I'm back in the gym and active every day. I can play with my kids again. This was a major life event for me. My family and I will be forever grateful for Dr. McBride, Mark Whitehead and their staff. Thank you so much!!!!

I had lumbar surgery 2 months ago to fuse 2 lower vertebrae. I had been experiencing major pain and I had had enough so I started asking around and reading about what I might need. I had very solid recommendations for Dr.McBride and I am so glad I went through with it. He was very good at explaining what he felt needed to be done,he explained it to me in terms I could understand and everything went perfectly. I am pain free and getting my life back! I would wholeheartedly support anyone with the same problems I had to stop what you are doing and give Orlando Orthopaedic a call. You won'the regret it! Thank you Dr. McBride!

Straight forward, gave options and surgery went well........ What else needs to be said. PA was great as well.

Dr. Mcbride seen me after I was rear ended while sitting at a stop light, He was in the room for all of five minutes. I explained to him that I was in a lot of pain and not sleeping. I also explained to him That I had an accident two years ago and had 3 herniated disc in my neck and two in my back. He never asked for a release to get those results. He ordered an MRI and informed me he wanted me to come back in 4 to 6 weeks. Not after the MRI was completed but in 4 to 6 weeks. He fails to properly diagnose and treat your pain. In short he does not care.

This was a second opinion, and he disregarded me, just as his cohort did. Basically he told me that "I am in the business of surgery, at most you might have a couple bulging discs. That won't need surgery." This, with no MRI done to determine, and barely a 5 minute consult. My primary doctor did choose to do MRI's, because she knows I'm not a frequent flyer or a complainer. In my neck alone, I have multiple Herniated Discs, multiple severely Bulging discs, and Stenosis. She referred me to pain management, who immediately said my success was not likely, with the all problems in my neck. However, he was willing to try Epidural injections if I chose. They weren't successful. Now, I am going to require surgery. Prior to his entering my room, I overheard his conversation with his assistant. He said, "We've got to step our game up here. We are in the business of surgery." Ironic that he missed this diagnosis. If he would have spent those five minutes with me asking the right questions, maybe… he would have made a better call/decision on my care.

They get you in and out. They don't explain anything. You will very rarely see Dr.McBride and when you do, he can't even look you in the eye. After sustaining a serious back injury they have no idea why I'm still in severe pain seven months later and tell me it's arthritis because the p.a couldn't think of anything else and when I laughed at him it was than blamed on schmores nodes which according to everything I've read don't cause pain. When I pushed for further answers I was rudely told "the only thing I can do for you is physical therapy". No answers, they just like to bill and than try to bill more.

Wish I would have read most of these reviews before I went to go see Dr. Grady McBride. What most of the other reviews said were true and accurate. Dr. McBride will write up a report on your appointment and include things that are untrue. I asked for my reports and that's when I discovered he had written things like I had been with my husband at a doctors appointment when I actually had not..I had been with a friend and was going through a divorce and needed these reports for my court day to show that I was injured and unable to work. I called his "team" to explain the misunderstanding and she literally argued that he must of assumed that was your husband and he's not going to change your report. I then proceeded to explain that the information is not accurate and needs to be removed from my report and that I want my report to be about me and my back and not about who accompanied me or who drove me because I needed assistance. I told her I was the patient . I then sent the office a… legal letter asking him to correct his assumptions and he again refused and said he would add an addendum to the report stating I was with a friend. Why who I was with mattered is beyond me. I felt I was the patient the report should be about me and nobody else. He is not there to help his patients. When I first met him he immediately said I needed surgery. I refused then he said well maybe physical therapy. He does not have compassion for his patients and he and his staff are nearly impossible to contact and talk to. He would careless if his patients were thrown in the street crippled. I highly recommend finding a doctor with a heart. I would not even give him a single star!!!!

Dr. Mcbride... This guy is no Dr., no time for you, does not care about your opinion. Does not care about you or your issues. I get the impression he feels he is sent by God and could never be mistaken. I have never been so upset in my life. The first time I never even saw him, I got to see his PA, the second visit I bet he had a whole 10 min to discuss my issues. Do yourself a big favor and say away for this fraud. Thanks, K

This so called doctor does not listen to his patients and could not wait to get out of the exam room. He will spend 5 minutes with you after making you wait 2 hours. He will be walking out the door and tell you to ask his assistant while you are still waiting for intelligent answers. You have been warned! I thought website reviews like this are just made up, but after reading some of the comments, I feel like this man did the exact same thing for them as he did for me, which is, WASTE my time . I will be very afraid for this man to do surgery on any part of my body!
