I have been a patient of Dr. Mikesell since he took over the practice from Dr. Wilson. I was a patient of Dr. Wilson since 1986 and when he retired Dr. Mikesell took over the practice. I called last week to get in to see the Doctor and get my prescriptions taken care of. I was told when I called that they were not accepting any new patients. Fine … I have been a patient of that practice since 1986 and I was denied an appointment. Once again I was told they are not accepting not patients. I was very upset with the entire situation. Now at 65 years old I have to find a new doctor ? I did find one that accepted me thank goodness. I hope the new doctor of this practice sees this and responds accordingly. At this rate you will not have any patients. The best of luck to the new doctor. I will have my new doctor come in and get my files or I will do it myself Gary Matthes

Dr Mikesell has a great bedside manner. He takes time with his patients and really cares. He moved to a nicer office and his new staff are very nice and efficient. Great doctor.

Dr Mikesell is caring and he listens. I’m so glad that we switched to Dr Mikesell. His office staff are very organized and very helpful.

Dr. Mikesell and Nicole are great, but the ENTIRE staff are RUDE and incompetent. Enough said !

I like Dr. Mikesell and his nurse, but find the rest of his staff wildly incompetent. I often find myself doing my own follow up for referrals since they never happen in a timely fashion.

Always prompt..takes the time to listen..orders tests needed promptly and most can be done in his bldg. 5 stars from me..for office staff also

I'm new to Jackson, I don't have insurance. I found Dr. Mikesell on line and was not sure if I wanted to go to the ER or the clinic. I talked to one of the staff members at the clinic who answered all my questions and she was very helpful. I seen Dr. Mikesell and I was really happy with his bedside manner and with his diagnosis. He wrote up my scripts and sent me on my way... I would go back anytime I get sick.

I have gone to Dr. Mikesell since he first came to Jackson. He is not only an exceptional Doctor but also a terrific parent and family man as well. He has diagnosed exactly several health issues I've had. In the office and in the hospital he is very compassionate and never hurry's you when you are explaining your health to him. I highly recommend Dr. Mikesell to anyone looking for a new doctor, you will not go wrong by choosing him. His staff is very friendly and also very accurate in what they do. His nurse Pam will treat you great and listen to your issues while being very friendly and caring. I can't say enough about Dr. Mikesell and highly recommend him to you, your family, and your friends.
