I'm writing this review in lieu of being able to find Dr. Perlmutters email to send him a personal "thank you" since I no longer live in the Boston area. Dr. Perlmutter performed a distal clavical excision on my right shoulder in 2015 that allowed me to have continued active use of my right arm. Without him, I wouldn't be able to do the things I enjoy most. Thank you, sincerely, Dr. Perlmutter. I hope you see this, and I hope you're doing well.

This doctor saved my shoulder after failed bankart repair he repaired my shoulder and 20 years later it is still functioning thank you

I have seen Dr Perlmutter several times & he did surgery on my shoulder. He is the BEST shoulder surgeon in Boston. He took the time to listen to my shoulder symptoms / pain, then did a thorough exam of my arm & shoulder. He ordered an MRI which showed a torn rotator cuff, that required surgery. After he performed my surgery, he called me several times after surgery to see how I was doing. I found him very compassionate. His secretary (Lisa) is the most efficient secretary. . I would highly recommend Dr Permitted to any other person.

Dr. Perlmutter has one of the BEST bedside manners I have EVER seen, and I have seen a LOT of doctors. He is EXTREMELY kind and caring, and very approachable. I only wish he did primary care!! I would HIGHLY recommend him in a heartbeat-he is totally WONDERFUL as a doctor and as a person!

After waiting over 1hrs to see Dr. Perlmutter, he came out to the waiting room and appologized to all of us, explaining that there had been a family emergency. When was the last time a DR. appolgized?? 3 months later he operated on my shoulder and the results are beyond what I had hoped for. Without question, I feel Dr. Perlmutter is the best...

I have recommended Dr. Perlmutter to anyone who has a sholder problem. The 2 Drs. I saw before wanted to operate immediately. Dr. Perlmutter never opperated he observed,diagnosed and resolved my problem. Follow up was as expected and thorough.
