Dr. Gary Weyman Price, MD

Dr. Price was very attentive and thorough while discussing my concerns. I ended up having allergy testing done and was very happy to finally find out what is impacting my health while in Florida. He also informed me of changes that I can make to my living environment as well as identifying things that cause me distress. His staff was very pleasant and attentive to me as well. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Price!

Dr. Price is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is kind, concerned,,,explains complicated medical issues thoroughly,,,answers all my questions, and has helped me to navigate insurance on more than one occasion. I strongly recommend him.

5-21-19 Yesterday I spoke to Dr Price’s assistant & explained to her how desperate I was to schedule an appointment with Dr Price, at 1 point I was on the verge of tears. I spoke to her about a week before & explained how I was diagnosed with a severe allergy condition & that I was looking for a local Dr to treat me. She had to speak to the Dr to find out if he tested it & she’d call back. She called back & said that he didn’t. I hung up hoping to find another Dr to help me. Well, fast forward a week & I called back because my allergies are getting worse & I couldn’t find a Dr in the area to help me. I explained that my unknown food allergies were getting worse & I was scared of going into anaphylactic shock & dying. I told her that even if he didn’t treat my condition I’d like him to test me for food allergies to find out what I should avoid. She said she would speak to Dr Price & call me back. When I say I was begging for an appointment, I’m not lying. Anaphylactic shock is… very serious & people die from it. I told her how I was breaking out in hives from head to toe, how my mouth was swelling & that for the first time since my diagnosis last year, I was carrying an epinpen with me. YES, it’s that bad! Well, I just got off the phone with his assistant & the Dr is refusing to see me. I explained again how all I wanted was to be tested to find out what foods I should avoid. She was very pleasant & said she was sorry but that there was nothing she could do. I have to words to express how disgusted, angry & scared I am! I have great insurance & even if he can’t treat me long term, why wouldn’t he at least see me once & do food allergy testing (my symptoms are occurring after I eat every meal)? As desperate as I am maybe I’m glad he won’t see me. I mean, what kind of Dr refuses to see someone who could possibly die, someone he could potentially help? I’m going to be filing a complaint with Watson Clinic today because there is no excuse for him not to be willing to see me even if only once! Lisa Monaco

Do not trust this Dr. Please get a second opinion or simply don't go to him. I was diagnosed with something serious by him and after second visit to a highly reputable dr in Tampa and further testing it was proven I did not have what Dr Price said I had.

Dr. Price is professional, competent and caring. I have been seeing him for 9 years and have never had an issue or complaint with him.

Dr. Price is great, but he's got the worst nursing staff. They don't return countless messages and are rude. He really should hire some new girls because it reflects on him.

Dr. Price is excellent, but his nursing staff has a huge turnover and you always seem to see a different nurse. All of the nurses I have ran across at his office are sub par... If he had a good nursing staff that would be the perfect allergist office. Emergency apointments are impossible and you will never get a call back from the office staff..

Dr. Price gives his full attention to your situation and tries to approach your problems in unique ways. He actually listens, researches further, and is open minded. His staff is dedicated and he makes sure you understand every aspect of your illness. He does not spend the entire time looking at his computer screen as some of my Watkins doctors have done. He looks at you. He has been most cooperative with me being a half year resident and his staff works with my allergy staff when I head north. I have no reservations in recommending him to others.

Dr Price gives you his undivided attention and never gets distracted when speaking to me. During the appointment, he sometimes spends as long as 30 minutes just discussing the patient's condition. My child is 13 and he directs the questions to her in order to best understand what is going on with her asthma.
