Dr. Gary Stuart Rachelefsky

My daughter and I were both patients of Dr. Rachelefsky on and off for about 36 years and I can say without hesitation that he took care of us with great expertise and always with perfect results.

Dr. Rachelefsky has been taking care of me and my family for 20 years. He is the best doctor ever, period. My son's asthma was uncontrollable, and Dr. Rachelefsky controlled it. Dr. Rachelefsky is attentive, listens carefully, remembers everything, genuinely cares about his patients, is a brilliant diagnostician and never overmedicates (many doctors overmedicate asthma) yet never undermedicates, either. It isn't possible to say too many good things about Dr. Rachelefsky.

We took our daughter to Dr. Rachelefsky when she was three and very ill with asthma. At that point we were medicating our daughter per her previous allergist, every four hours, 24 hours a day. It wasn't working and we and our daughter were exhausted. We were truly frightened for her. Dr. Rachelefsky immediately took charge. His grasp of her asthma and of what needed to be done inspired such confidence that we knew he would make our daughter well. He completely changed the drug regimen and for the first time in many months we were able to return to some normalcy in our lives. We followed his advice religiously. Our daughter is now 15. She is healthy, strong, happy and is no longer on a medication schedule. Her lungs at her last test indicated that they are not different from those of an average 15 year-old girl. We are grateful to have come upon this extraordinary and caring doctor. He healed our daughter.

Dr. Rachelefsky is a problem-solver who is very interested in his patients. He spends considerable time with you and remembers what you say. He works hard to resolve your problem and brings current research to bear on the solution. One of the brightest physicians I've ever met.
