Doctor Shepherdson did an exam on my elderly relative and assessed that he was cognitively fine. This relative had dementia to the point that they could not remember the topic you had discussed with them even 30 seconds after the conversation. We had to schedule a second appointment with another family member present to get the correct information recorded. This doctor should not be trusted.

This doctor will milk your insurance, especially is you have an HRA/HSA. He refused to go over lab results on the phone. He demanded repetitive office visits. He accuses patients of lying when you tell him you are in no pain. To top this off, I was 311 lbs when I first walked in and my BP was high, 130/90. I told him I was serious about changing my diet/life, but he demanded to write me a prescription. Guess what? I lost 40 lbs in months and my BP went down to normal. This is not a patient focused doctor that helps you reach goals, and is instead one to reach for the bandaid pill. Not to mention he kept joking that I wasn't dead.

I have been coming here for roughly 6 months now and I absolutely LOVE it! The staff here is so friendly, the physicians are great. I really like how everything is designed with you (the patient) in mind. I would highly recommend this clinic to any and everyone.

Dr Shephardson required pap smears be done every 6 months for young adults on birth control pills. After feeling extremely uncomfortable for the second time with contact during an exam, I sought care from another doctor.. At the new doctor I learned that my insurance covered pap smears only 1x/year so I am unsure who was paying for the 2nd one. And the contacts I was uncomfortable with was not appropriate. A few years after this Dr Shephardson started requiring a nurse chaperone in the room for young female exams. He did not seem to mind running literally 3 hours late, repeatedly. And blamed serious medical conditions (diagnosed accurately by others later) on things like diet. Friendly staff, and he did spend plenty of time with patients.
