Dr. Gary Max Songco, MD

I called the office and was told to get a referral from my primary doctor. I did just this and they sent over labs and x ray evaluations. After doing all this I called and tried to schedule an appointment with Christina, the receptionist, and was refused. She said the doctor asked her not to schedule any new appointments. We should have been told this right away and not after my doctor's office went to all the trouble to accumulate documents for them.

Went to see Dr. Songco for what i believed was bronchtis. My first visit here sat and LISTENED to me give my life history and before even running tests he believed what I was truly suffering from was gastrointestinal and not completely respiratory, though the gastro issue was contributing to the respiratory symptoms. After my visit my symptoms worsened and so he hospitalized me to run many tests to get to the bottom of everything. In the end it did turn out my stomach had quit digesting and I was in danger of dying from sepsis if I didn't have surgery. Even though my issue turned out not to be in Dr. Songco's field me never left my side, brought in every doctor he thought could assist in the matter and eventually had me transferred to have the surgery I needed to save my life. I love this man and am more thankful than words can even express. He is a strong worded physician lol language is not censored, especially when he feels nurses and caretakers aren't living up to the… care he believes his patients need and I would never want to be on the wrong end of that. However, in this day and age where you have to force or make doctors listen and do their job for them it is so wonderful to have a doctor that truly cares about nothing BUT his patients well being. I can't thank him enough for EVERYTHING he did for me. And if you are lucky enough to hear him sing you will be so amazed... beautiful voice. I Love you Dr. Songco!

Dr. Songco visited my mother in her room at the Nix Hospital. He recognized the seriousness of her situation and insisted that she be taken to ICU immediately. It was there that he and the staff watched over my mother's progress as if they were caring for one of their parents. My family and I are extremely grateful for the care he provided for my mother while in ICU and after. It was he who helped her regain her strength and health.

Dr. Songco's care made the final days of my mother's life better. His treatment choices for her were good and improved her condition. He is observant and competant. My mother asked for him to be her doctor after she was transferred to another facility because she trusted him. He even called me and followed up after learning my mother had not survived her illness. He is a good hearted soul.

I was referred to Dr. Songco by my primary physician. Dr. Songco is a very caring doctor who takes his time with each of his patients. I feel he is very knowledgeable in his field. I'm very satisfied with the medical care his provides me. His staff is very kind and caring also. I highly recommend Dr. Songco and I plan to retain him as my pulmonologist for as long as he practices medicine.
