Great doctor would recommend. Saved my life

Toxic MD on every level.

After a half year of watching our Mom's stage four bladder cancer get worse while being treated at two very good hospitals including North Western Memorial, we were lucky enough to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Steinberg. After a few more followup appointments with him and his team a major surgery was scheduled. Needless to say Dr. Steinberg was successful in a complicated surgery which had some unforeseen curve balls that he corrected on the spot. A nine day Hospital stay at the U of C Hospital with a caring and professional staff along with a week stay at an equally good rehab center has made it possible for my Mom to be back at home (God Bless) and doing "Wonderfully". I am truly sorry for those who had the worst possible outcome with Dr. Steinberg as you are in my prayers but I must say I believe he saved our Mom's life.

Pompous arrogant cold after surgery follow up appointments

My husband had been going to Dr. Steinberg for some time and up until this last episode I had respect for him until Dr steinberg and his SO CALLED "team" worked on my husband. What had started as a "3 days and you'll be home " surgery turned out to be almost four months and now your dead surgery. Dr. Steinberg and his team made quite a few errors in my opinion I believed caused the death of my husband . My husband was a strong healthy man when he went in for his surgery and from that day did nothing but decline in health and weight do to all the organs/and intestines they "knicked" during surgery. I have absolutely NO respect for this doctor anymore. In all the weeks my husband was in the hospital, Dr. Steinberg saw him only twice and the other times, it was his team. Doctors may be busy, but I think after all the damage that was done, he could have followed up on his damages. My husband never complained, always had a smile on his face, and now thanks to this doctor , I will never see… that again.

Doctor Steinberg is a professional yet a very personable and caring person. The information he provides is excellent and clear to understand. I appreciate his team as well as his ability to take time and explain everything to you. Dr. Steinberg is EXCELLENT...

Steinberg is the most arrogant individual, let alone doctor it been my fate to encounter. He always travels with his entourage who I'm sure seek ortho rehab from constantly slapping him on his back. I found him incredibly insensitive and cold.

Dr. Steinberg is the finest doctor ever for Prostate cancer. He has exception bed side manners and takes the rime necessary to discuss and explain all procedures. I have been cancer free for 12+ years now because of Dr. Steinberg. I have NO side affects from his radical procedure on me. I am extremely fortunate and honored to recommend him to anyone. He takes the time to become not only your doctor, but your friend.
