This doctor should not be doing reviews for work comp pain meds. The problem is, he has constantly made my husband suffer in pain & withdrawls by denying my husbands pain meds for up to 2 weeks! My husband & I jus lost are 2nd child. We are already suffering mentally & emotionally. For my husband to have to suffer physically during a time when it’s dangerous just to go to any hospital, is outrageous! This doctor is all about holistic medicine. For any person that has a legitimate injury that is WELL documented, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. My husband has numerous disc that are bone on bone. This doctor denied his meds because my husband didn’t have a recent urine test? Then they shoulda requested a ursine test way before he ran out of meds! If your work comp management assigns you this doctor for your medication review, request another doctor promptly or you too will be waiting every month for countless days, just to get your pain meds! This doctor will find any lame excuse to deny pain… meds because he doesn’t believe in them. Very ironic that he’s a work comp pain med management review doctor don’t you think?

This "doctor" gets paid for denying workman's comp treatment requests from highly qualified specialized doctors, who actually know what they are doing. If you are a first responder, who got injured on duty, you better hope your department does not utilize CareWorks and THIS doctor, because they have NO interest in getting you better. They will deny everything, good luck on healing. I am writing this from experience.

This doctor is solely in the medical field to hire his degree out to worker's comp carriers and will ALWAYS side with them over patient treatment. He provides opinions well outside his so-called expertise and prolongs patient pain and suffering for a buck. Should have his license revoked.

Dr. Taff is paid to deny WC claims. I figure he didn't fare well in Med School so had to get a job denying people legit medical claims.
