Dr. Gary Tratt is a narcissistic jerk who cares more about his awards than his patients.

Not only being an excellent primary physician, he is very warm and friendly as person. I feel relaxed and relieved whenever I come to see him to consult. He thinks of all the possibilities to detect what is causing the symptoms I have accurately. I can trust him as medical doctor as well as a sincere person.

Experience matters and taht is the most important thing Dr. Tratt brings. Example: Go to a surgeon, he'll tell you to get a joint replacement. Go to Dr. Tratt, he'll work with you to ease pain, strengthen the joint, and do whatever is possible to delay or eliminate the need for a joint replacement. Why? Because he has seen how debilitating surgeries that have gone wrong can be, especially toolder people. He is cautious, careful, thoughtful. He knows doctors and medicine can help, but they can also hurt, and he is really looking out for you for the long term. Also, this is a doctor, not a business. He is not ordering tests you don't need, giving you medicine you don't need. If you want a careful doctor, who will really tell you the pros and cons of a drug or procedure, and gives you advice as he would a member of his own family, go to Dr. Tratt.

Does not spend time with patient

Being a patient with a background in the medical community, it is with a degree of expertise that I can tell you that there are few doctors with the expertise and skill at diagnosing and directing treatment than Gary Tratt. He is a bit abrupt but cares that the patient gets better or prevents problems. I have heard from hospital nurses and doctors that say that he is incredibly adept at quickly discovering medical issues and figuring out the complexities of a patient's health and systems. His office and nursing staff is the kindest there is and always helping as much as they can. I would recommend him to everyone, unless you are more concerned with a warm, fuzzy doctor instead of a really great medical doctor.
