Dr. Gary Visner, DO

Dr. Gary A. Visner is a senior pediatric pulmonologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program, where he specializes in caring for children with complex respiratory diseases including cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, severe asthma, and conditions requiring pediatric lung transplantation. He is affiliated with the Division of Pulmonary Medicine and has more than four decades of clinical experience in pediatric pulmonology and transplant medicine. Dr. Visner earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed advanced residency and fellowship training in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonary medicine.
