Dr. Gary Ronald Wanerka, MD

As a parent with three grown daughters who have been using Branford Pediatrics for many years I feel lucky to have found such a knowledgeable group of professionals. Not only are these Dr. kind and passionate about their field, they also are humble enough to admit when they are unsure of something. When this occurs they will put in the extra effort to research with you to come up with the best plan of action for your child's Heath and well being. Thank you for everything you do!

Gary is a fantastic doctor, but unfortunately most every other doctor within his practice is an absolute inconstant fraud, including but not limited to Dr. Kennedy ,Dr. Shehan, and mostly Dr.Gad. There is no man more clueless and unnecesarily conservitave than Dr. Gad, which allows medical issues to worsen requiring multiple visits, and Dr.Gad often times tells you, in his obnoxious accent, to "take some vitamins and youll be fine" when its almost never the case.

This doctor comes highly recommended as a pediatric allergist.Yeah, you'll wait in his office if you go after school. But that's because he's spending quality time with his patients. I don't complain about the waiting, because he is not going to rush in and out of my appointment either. He calls back personally, usually somewhat later in the evening. He doesn't like to have to leave a message and finds that's the best way to talk to his patients parents. My kids hate doctors. But they really like Dr. Wanerka, even if they have to get allergy shots every visit.

This doctor has incredible rapport. Aside from clinical discussion, an office visit with Dr. Wanerka is like visiting with an old friend. His insight is extraordinary, and he communicates solidly with parents and affectionately with his patients. He is an outstanding pediatrician.
