Dr. Gaston Dana, DO

Told us to call hospice because of cancer. Got a second opinion from an oncologist and there is NO cancer. If you don’t know what you’re doing don’t “practice” medicine.

Will drop you as soon as your insurance changes, no great loss couldnt get in to see him when needed, office staff a joke especially office manager, rude and hateful

He's to busy, you can't get an appt and when you get one its with pa not him. Doesn't matter how good a doctor is if you can't see him when needed, look for someone else if you want to be seen

I had two recent bad events where he ignored my physical complaints and relate it to lipitor, and paxil

The office staff is terrible at returning calls and getting messages to the doctor. However, his care is thorough and caring. I like Dr. Dana, and his partners, but the lack of administrative skills in the office is a concern.

Dr. Dana is one of tr best doctors I have ever known. He is highly skilled at treating the whole body and takes his time to gather a full health history.

Since my Dr's (an endocrinologist) patients were divided up among the other physicians in his practice when he left - I was given to Dr Dana. My former Dr took time to go over my test results with me and made me feel like I had a part in my health care -Thsi past week I called on Monday about an issue I was having with my legs - ache moving from my feet to mid leg and he finally got back with me on Thursday saying he wanted me to come in the next day to see his nurse attendant - not even him! Last office visit which was just a few months ago, I spent 45 minutes waiting in the waiting room and less than 10 minutes in the exam room - I was in tears because my weight had increased so much - I asked if the medication he had me on would have cause it and he said maybe and he told me I needed to purchase an eliptical machine to work out on - then he walked out saying he would see me in 3 months. Nothing more. I am currently looking for another physician

I have gone to many Drs. in my lifetime and Dr. Dana is without a doubt the most caring and quick on diagnosing and taking care of the problems of all. I couldn't be more pleased with a Dr.
