Dr. Gaurang Bipinbhai Shah, MD

Dr shah has been my dr for over 15 years. He is a great listener and diagnostician. He uses common sense approach and tries not to overload you with medications. It's easy to talk to his friendly staff.

Test in office I do not agree with, not beneficial just money thing. Been patient there almost 8 years. One lady by the name of Brandi nurse is very helpful always eager to assist in any way very friendly. Always get in that day or next for any problem. Shah is great at getting down to the problem as for the wait time I don't mind a hour because you will see due to the time he spends with each individual patient. Time isn't a issue never feel rushed.

Dr. Shah came highly recommended and I concur with the recommendation. Exams are thorough, and his treatment for my hypertension has been right on. The staff has always been courteous and friendly. Time spent in the waiting room has been reasonable. I would recommend him to a friend.

In my opinion Dr Shah is not as professional as doctors I am use to. His bedside manner is lacking as is his figuring out the cause of my problems. I will not go back to this doctor.

Dr.Shah is the worst doctor in Richmond. Do not go to him !!!! He is greedy for money and does not know what he is talking about.He is rude and obnoxious.He orders useless tests.I had a terrible experience with him and,his crude office staff.AVOID.

Writes scripts for pain meds, and is good about changing things if needed for that.Orders non-essential tests if my insurance covers them.Does not know my test results when I go for follow up.

Prescribed me medicine that doesn't even exist. I also waited nearly an hour in his lobby (which was packed) while he was out to lunch, even though the sign out front indicated his lunch hour was before my appointment. Doesn't care your time, or about helping you, and as someone else mentioned, is incompetent. Save your money and find a doctor that actually cares about getting you better.

This arrogant Dr. Is incompetent and will put lies in your records which cause you problems getting insurance later and then refuse to admit he was wrong or change his incorrect records. The staff is unfriendly, dismissive and rude.

My daughter had a disease, not only did this doctor make fun of my daughters disease, he made her worse! If he was the only doctor in a 5000 mile range and i was on my last leg, I would rather die. I WAITED ONE HOUR in the waiting room! & I was the only one in the waiting room! UGH!.
