Dr. Gauri Dhir

I absolutely Love Dr. Dhir, she is so compassionate about her patients. I even brought my mom to see her and she found a tumor on my mom’s Thyroids that her normal Doctors wasn’t able to find. Dr. Dhir is not just a doctor, she’s like family. My Thyroids are now normal because of her. I recommend Dr. Dhir to those that truly need help with their Thyroids and want great results

Dr Dhir was highly recommended by my PPO. I saw her 2 times. The first appointment I asked what type of tests I would receive. The second appointment was the follow up. She did not go over my test results so I asked about one test that had been way below normal prior to me seeing her. During both appointments, I received lectures about patients asking doctors questions. She spoke about other patients that asked her questions and how uneducated patients are to even understand the answers to questions asked. I have never had a doctor speak to me like that before. Getting information regarding appointment set up for labs and scans was a nightmare. I called and sent requests via the portal several times, therefore I did not get one of the tests I was supposed to receive because I could not get a straight answer from the staff or Dr Dhir.

We relocated to North Carolina few months back and was trying to get an appointment . We got an appointment after 3 months,We were ok with it however we were looking for inputs to see if the regular medication can be transferred from our old doctor to the new one. The front desk is really rude and very poor in conveying and getting the message. We were there in person and was not treated right ,Not sure probably our skin **. You will be surprised even after couple of weeks

I've been going to Dr. Dhir for sometime and was initially referred of other prolactin level issues. She also became my diabetes care provider. IWhen I started with her I was overweight and blood sugars were literally out of control. She started me on insulin as well as victoza, got me registered for the new liver reader and it's been awesome every since. My AlCs is down to 5.9 and I lost over forty pounds!!

I went to doctor Dhir after having a full thyroid panel done showing high TSH, low T4, T3, and very high thyroglobulin antibodies. Doctor Dhir completely disregarded my symptoms and claimed there was no treatment for me beyond stopping all exercise and lowering my stress levels. She failed to listen to my full medical history, and instead, created a false narrative that victimized and belittled me. While I am definitely a proponent of a holistic approach to healthcare & natural remedies (I already practice yoga/meditation and eat a healthy plant-based diet), Dr. Dhir was extremely unprofessional and left me untreated. I am now under the treatment of a different provider that has been much more helpful throughout this emotionally draining process.

Dr. Gauri Dhir is a very kind doctor. She explained everything so I understood was going on in my body. She shows concern and caring for her patients; Its very impressive!
