Ive been a patient for the past 10 years and dr Samadder has always been thorough and responsive to any of my concerns. I was diagnosed with RLS and he has worked with me to find a treatment that is effective. I would recommend him to others with sleeping disorders.

Three months ago I had my annual appt w/Dr. Samadder. He recommended a sleep study since I've not been in to the lab for a few years. I explained that I had very little remaining in my HSA & I needed to know what insurance was going to cover. I was told "schedule the appointment--we'll find out & call you--the appointment can be changed." I never heard back, but I read the cancellation notice & called their office 60 hours before I was scheduled. I called during office hours, but got their answering machine. Within a week I had recevied a bill for $125 (late cancellation). I went immediately to the office & showed them my phone with the phone call time & date. They printed me a zero balance & apologized. I told them I still had not heard how much my insurance would pay. Again, they said they'd check & get back to me. This week I received the $125 bill AGAIN. I'm not sure what to do! I cancelled within the allotted time, I got a ZERO balance statement, but I'm still getting bills--& no… information on what my insurance will or will not pay. I suppose it's time to find another doctor.

After a recent sleep study at the Newark, Ohio Sleep Lab managed by Dr Samadder as a medical professional I feel others need to know what to expect. This facility is OLD at best and is antiquated in all aspects of equipment and comfort. My first appointment was plague with receiving staff who were late to open the office and then booking 3 patients for the same exact time slot only to have to wait for 50 minutes for a 10-15 minute interview. After waiting I was only seen by a PA. The straw that broke the camels back was that fact that the Newark facility is exactly as it was over ten years ago same beds, equipment and it is beat up with ridicules lighting and set up for the patient is very weak. As the sleep study progressed the mask and hose the tech went to put on me stunk like mildew and I refused to use it. I had mine thankfully to use. The next discovery was the humidifier being used was filled with Newark Tap water. I know that one night isn't crucial however come on you… can't tell me that distilled water is too expensive based on your charges. The fact that Dr Samadder is rarely or never around speaks to this lack of interest in anything but billing insurance and taking in revenue. Bottom line is I felt like this all just a great money making scheme for Dr Samadder as he is off with one of his many other business.

I thought he was excellent. I was going out of town for a four month vacation. First time I saw him, he went over and above to get me a sleep study scheduled that night. The sleep results were available to me the next day and I had my new CPap with 24 hours. I have some other medical results, when I went in on semi annual visit, he was very concerned and want my other doctor to consult with him on my condition. He goes over and above to provide excellent care. I would recommend him to anybody.
