The medical community and today's physicians have very little knowledge on how to test and treat for parasitic problems that are not showing up on their antiquated lab scoring and results. For two years I went back and forth to gastro physicians, neurologists, and ended up at this kidney doctor to find out why I was having digestive issues and renal failure-like symptoms. The gastroenterologist wanted to take my gallbladder out, the neurologists didn't believe me, and Dr. V (Kidney specialist) refused to prescribe an antibiotic even though tests from Emory Emergency Room the week prior showed slightly minor elevated WBC, Amorphous/HPF, Ascorbic Acid and Leukocyte tests. He even discussed the pros and cons of the possible treatment approaches and factored in my input. The office is well run and the staff is courteous and efficient.
