Dr. Gay Marie Story, MD

She did blood work which showed tumor markers, then chalked it up to a fluke blood work. I begged to follow up.....just got mass removed less than week ago ( from another dr) DO NOT SEE THIS WOMAN IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH!!!

Dr. Story does not listen to anything you have to say to her. She has a well rehearsed talk about how she is well trained and would not tell you what to do in your career field. If anything goes wrong or if you have problems, she tells you to go to your primary doctor. She makes you drive to appointments and does very little at them because she gets payed to see you in person and can bill your insurance. She does not like to answer questions on email or the phone.

I have lived with/managed my own Type 1 diabetes for 53 years, but Dr. Story was not interested in anything I had to say. All diabetics/people are different. I could not get lab results from her or her nurse. I had to drive back to the lab to get them myself. It was difficult to get usual meds refilled. She told me "I don't have time to talk to patients on the phone. That's not the way I run my practice." She prescribed a med for me after she got the lab results but didn't tell me what was wrong. I found out about it when the pharmacy called me to pick up the med. Not the kind of doctor I want.

Excellent doctor. Not reticent about what patient needs to do. Great and caring demeanor.
