Dr. Kurra is a dream doctor! When she walks into the examining room, she doesn't have to ask a bunch of questions--she knows who you are, what you've told her in the past, what treatment(s) you've had, what meds you're using, and even all the personal situations you've discussed with her. When she's talking with you, she looks straight at you, eye to eye, and listens intently to every word. Her staff worships her, so they make sure her patients are handled cheerfully and completely. I've learned, over the years, that a happy office means a fine doctor, and she's the finest!

I've been a patient of Dr.Kurra for several years now, ever since I had a cancerous kidney extracted. She's a patient's dream come true. Many doctors don't listen very well--they just stop talking for a moment while you reply, then they proceed on the path they had already decided to take with your care. Well, not THIS doctor! Dr. Kurra actually LISTENS, holding firm eye-contact while she takes in what you're saying. Every bit of it goes into her charts, and she actually REVIEWS your charts before she ever comes into the room, so she doesn't have to ask you redundant questions. She is a rare & wondrous gift to any patient.

i was taken to Methodist south lake, had reaction to water pill i was allergic to sulfur----dr geeta was my doctor and saw me---i had numerous transfusions and blood platelets.she explained what was happening and what she would do. i also get a b-12 shot when i see her.she is an excellent doctor with much knowledge and so friendly.if i have a problem in future i will call her. i trust her judgement and what she can do for me, she was my angel when i needed one------bless yougeeta kurra.

Dr Kurra has been nothing but professional and caring during the treatment for my family member. Very easy to talk to and takes the time to listen and explain. If I personally ever need the services of an oncologist, i only wish to have her or someone like her.

I was referred to Dr. Kurra by another doctor. She was great from the get-go. She took one look at me, agreed with diagnosis, asked me questions that when I answered were spot on with what I was experiencing. She was warm, professional and just so open, you really felt like you could tell her anything. I found instant comfort & security with my care in her hands. Her staff was great. They, like Dr. Kurra, were open, friendly and so professional, I just felt like this was the perfect medical fit for me. I have to give special credit to Melisa in billing. My insurance company was quoting incorrect benefits, awkward, since I also work for them. Melisa, did a fantastic job and we managed to work out the situation. It's because of people like Melisa that don't just do a job rote, but think and care, that this stressful enough time, didn't become more stressful because of my insurance. Thank you Melisa. Keep up the great work. I would recommend Dr. Kurra to family, friends… and strangers.
