Dr. Geeta Ashok Sangani, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Sangani’s for many years. I absolutely love her! She has always been a very caring, thorough and dedicated doctor. She takes her time to listen and she never rushes you in any way. She has even called me herself to check on me at home when I have been sick - a rare thing these days!

Clerical staff is very rude and personal in their reactions. They talked over me the whole time when I was trying to ask questions and explanations of services. Was never given a reasonable answer because of clericals need to be rude and not listen. Many recent times I have gone for an appt where I was asked what medications I'm on when I have been a patient for 10 years. I would think that information is clearly in my records. Was given no direction of dosage on medications at time of new medications. Was treated poorly in release of my treatment. Poor poor service. It didn't used to be like this.

Awful experience with her, she is very rude!!!! Also she doesn’t wear gloves when she takes blood and she wears flip flops very unprofessional!!

This Dr. did nothing to help me get to the root of my problems. In fact she was rude and had 0 bedside manner. She also told me that I would "never" be able to go off anxiety meds, which is ridiculous as it was only ever meant to be temporary. Will be seeking a new endocrinologist.

I LOVE Dr. Sangani! I was referred to her several years ago to be my endocrinologist and was a bit wary of going to someone new. She always gives a through exam, takes time to answer questions and explain them. If I have a concern or problem I can always e mail or call the office and they get back to me. Always on top of things. Only complaint would be getting test results, I usually have to call and ask them to post them on my patient portal.

I am so satisfied with my care. I see Dr. Sangani and also Olga. Love them both.

I had no trouble with any staff as some other comments mention, but in my new patient visit with Dr. Sangani, I felt she acted arrogant, unsympathetic and rude. Unable to view my meter data and without an A1C, she built up an idea that I am hypoglycemic because I wasn't testing 8-12 times a day, which is 2-3x more than what I had been told by my previous 2 physicians. Also, Dr. Sangani instantly and repeatedly tried pushing her favorite pump, although I am comfortable and healthy with the one I've used for 11 years. Having diabetes for over 2 decades, Dr. Sangani felt the need to explain common terms and talk down to me. After telling me not to be her patient several times, she tried to send me to get lab testing done.

She is good with annual health checkups, diagnosing health conditions and explaining the situation to patients. However, I found that she is not very concerned with and not very good in changing treatment plans when her initial treatment doesn't work. As an experienced physician, she also has to focus on listening to the fears of patients and clearing their doubts when they are going through a harsh medical condition instead of just saying them that they are hyperventilating.

I am very happy with her care

I am glad she is there for me. She is kind, considerate, caring and brilliant.
