Dr. Geetha Ambalavanan, MD

She was polite enough. My ? up, was not the most thorough. My checkup consisted of her being late, a quick chat, and listening to my lungs at resting. She refused to treat a bacteria infection, as well. Which is pretty negligent, in my opinion. It's a pretty solid, no, I'll not go back to see her.. The assistant was lovely, though.

She does not listen and is very cold and rude. She cut me off and blew off my issue with her opinion. She then ended our session by walking out of the room as I was talking. Worse doctor I've ever seen. The only good that came from a visit with her is my gynecologist. Dr Geetha Ambalavana has the worse bedside manner. I had to find a new family doctor that cares.

This doctor is one of the worse doctors I have ever seen! She’s overzealous about prescribing new medicines, and will continue to prescribe something even if a person had an allergic reaction. For example, she prescribed a medicine to my mother, my mother told her it made her itch like crazy, and she still prescribed it for her again! She does not listen to your concerns, focuses on the wrong things and is over insistent of forcing vaccines even if you don’t want them. She is not up to date with current medical research. I brought my son in one time because he was pulling his ear and she focused on his eczema! She said that one type (he has two different kinds) of eczema on his feet and hands was hand foot and mouth disease when really it’s a type of eczema caused by a nickel allergy! Her care is poor and she runs out quickly before you really have a chance to ask question, and gives too many open ended questions. You pay $110 without insurance to see her for maybe 10 minutes, it’s… ridiculous. She doesn’t care about her patients, she only cares about herself!

Dr. Geetha seems to be a very compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable doctor. I am very satisfied with the care I have received from her.

The wait time was less than 10 min. Her repore with the patient was exceptional. Also her medical knowledge has been excellent. If you need additional help, she is quick to refer you to a specialist. When I leave I feel good.

This doctor is the absolute worst doctor I've ever seen. I switched to her as a Fam Dr at the suggestion of a family member. After waiting for 20 minutes AFTER being put in the back in a room, I spent a total of 4 minutes with her during which she was the rudest, coldest person in the medical field I've spoke with. Like most men I see a doctor rarely and when I do I bring a small "laundry list" of things to address. I was told by her "Ok, pick 2 things off that list, thats all we're doing today." First thing was given a "see a specialist". Second thing was "I'm not doing that for you, I dont like the side effects, so no. Have you tried doing that thing you just told me you tried doing to no success?" LUCKY ME, I got a THIRD thing off my list! I got, again, "see a specialist". So, here I am, seeing real doctors I guess who can really help me because she refuses to even take a second to find the root cause of my medical issues. I still have a half dozen problems, unaddressed,… because she refused to address them all. My health and my person did/does not matter to her. I will never see this doctor again and I will urge anyone looking for one to avoid her. Terrible person, and a (somehow) worse doctor. Avoid her.

Dr. Ambalavanan has a rude bedside manner who talks as if she is superior to her patients. She doesn't care about her patients and rushes through her diagnostic checks. I will not be going back and will find another family doctor.

Extremely poor bedside manner. Dr. Ambalavanan exudes contempt. Her manner is inappropriately rude. I would not recommend her to anyone.
