Medical oncologist Dr. Geetha J. Kamath has loved every moment of being an oncologist. She considers her patients like her family, with whom she shares a special relationship. The many exciting new advancements in cancer care are increasingly providing hope for patients that was not possible when she began her career.

Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Kamath received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. She completed residency training at Government Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore and at Helen Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, followed by a fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Connecticut Medical Center in Farmington, CT. She joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2013.

Dr G. Kamath is so knowledgeable and kind, she treats her patients with caring and respect. She took a lot of time with me, and really listened and cared. Such a nice person! Very smart and sensible, went way above and beyond. Also the whole office is organized, Dr comes right in on time. She is so nice, very good at explaining what to expect and what can be done, I feel more hopeful now. Thank you to this great Dr. Also, whole entire office staff were great, all treated me with caring and respect. What a pleasant change after some of the lousy Dr i have seen lately. Thank you, Dr Kamath.

Ordered tests that were never taken. Issued oxygen equipment but never gave us any instructions on how to use. Promised prescriptions, but you have to call her office over and over to get them. Excuses, changed stories, dirty treatment rooms, terrible.
