Dr. Geetha Kommineni Paladugu, MD

Dr Paladugu has been my therapist for over 20 years. She is very respectful, caring every time I see her. She manages my Medications and we speak every 3 months unless I need to ralk to her earlier. I highly recommend Dr. Paladugu .

Dr Paladugu is extremely knowledgeable. Very professional. She is understanding. She is helpful. She is the best of the best in the Inland Empire. I highly recommend her. I won't see anyone else except her.

I have seen a few medical doctors in response to my severe depression and anxiety, and Dr. Paladugu was a horrible experience. I have seen her a few times in the past, hoping to become more in-touch with her. Every time I attempted to explain in-depth the symptoms I experience and their severity, she would quickly cut me off and move on to the next question, as if she wanted to get the appointment over with. She would prescribe medications that had no to adverse effects, and when I would bring it to her attention, she would only increase the dosage, which I feel is negligent on her behalf as someone who should have concern as a MD. I feel that because of her unwillingness to thoroughly understand the issues I was undergoing, it only made my struggles with depression and anxiety worse. It hurts me that other patients might undergo this same experience, and I hope that others will broaden their views of who they want as their psychiatrist, as opposed to Dr. Paladugu.

I have read the other reviews posted about Dr.Palagudu and can not believe some of the things said. In my experiences with her she has been nothing but courteous and kind, compassionate and caring. She is very intelligent and knows her craft well. She does let me know when I need to make changes in my best interest, but never in a way that I have felt offended. Another thing that I love about her is that when I call about a question or a concern she always calls back, and if she doesn't her office staff calls and addresses my concern. I cant say enough things about this DR. I would recommend her to anyone.

Let me say that I think meds are a little too easily prescribed, and too quickly switched (at my request) but if they weren't, I'd have the opposite complaint! It's to the point that I am requesting to be weened off of meds that I originally requested. I think she knows what she's doing. I came in on a lot of meds from another dr and she said the meds were CAUSING my irritability due to my condition. She asked me questions that other psychs had never asked. I catch her doing little tests to check my memory and other things without me knowing. I didn't catch on for a while, but it's a good technique. I ask questions, but she also explains a lot of things. She seems very knowledgeable, and believe me, I go home and research everything she gives me and everything she says. She listens to me and her bedside manner is AWESOME. She hints at weightloss (which is totally necessary) but is never, ever, rude or tactless about it. She purposely choses weight nuetral meds for me and reminds me to… exercise. She seems like she genuinely cares, and if she doesn't, she puts on a good show which works for me! I've only ever had 1 better psych in my life and I've been doing this for 13 years. I don't see this Dr. in a psych ward but I have been to PLENTY and might I add that a lot of people feel negatively towards doctors in psych wards due to whatever situation brought them there, whatever is keeping them there against their will and the fact that psych wards are temporary facilities meant to stabilize you and send you on your way. Long term medical treatment is needed for any real issues and you aren't going to get that at a regular psych ward during a 72 hour hold or a 2 week-1 month max placement. I DEFINITELY recommend her. Definitely.

I consider Dr. Paladugu to be the best Psychiatrist in my area.She is able to listen, ask questions and is able to provide medications according to my symptoms, not just my diagnosis.She has shown great compassion for my family and I.

too superficial and quick in prescribing medicines that can have very bad sides effects... bad and inattentive diagnose... wrong treatment!careless... i didn't feel like she was listening and sometimes even rude with unneeded comments...fast visits and very bad overall experience!

this dr. prescribes medication with out reading and understanding the pdr's reccommendations. consequently patient experiences all kinds of bad side effects, and dangerous side effects.
