Dr. Gene Cheng, MD

Dr. Cheng is knowledgeable, patient and very kind. Gave me useful suggestions to treat my conditions and helped me save money. Highly recommended!

This doctor has not served my elderly mother well. Wait time is usually up to an hour, with no one else waiting. He has been rude with her each time that I’ve joined her appointment. She leaves in tears. She has a heart condition and he doesn’t know who her cardiologist is, nor other specialists. He has shown no compassion toward her or her needs when I’ve been there. He has been unavailable to her during Crisis’s. Bedside manner- terrible! In my opinion, his competence as a physician is also lacking!

Dr Cheng is a very knowledgeable physician who keep informed on current medical practices. He runs his own practice which is a rarity and a challenge in the current environment where hospitals taking over physician practices. He is very business like in style and focuses on understanding your symptoms and problems during your visit. Also if you a serious about taking care of yourself Dr Cheng is also a great coach and cheerleader!

AFTER MY 8 WAY BY PASS DR CHENG HAS BEEN RIGHT ON TOP OF ALL MY HEALTH NEEDS. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I AM HONORED TO HAVE HIM AS MY DOCTOR.

Dr. Cheng has been my doctor since his father retired. Dr. Cheng's father treated my parents, and after retiring, Young Dr. Cheng took over their care. He was kind, caring, took an interest in their issues, and would call them at home after hours if they had a question, or the doctor wanted to check up on how they were doing. Dr. Cheng has been an excellent doctor for me. He is open to patients asking questions, without considering the question a challenge to his knowledge or treatment. If he doesn't know the answer to something, he does the research to find out. I take many different medications for several serious illnesses, which require a good deal of care when it is necessary to prescribe a new medication. He doesn't hesitate to send me to a specialist if he feels someone else can provide more help. I never feel rushed in his office. He has excellent staff who know who you are, follow up with the doctor if you call in with a question, and are helpful rather than the sort of… staff that takes pleasure in "the power of NO". There is no one I would recommend more than Dr. Cheng as a family doctor. I don't even want to think about his ever moving away. Thank God he's way too young to retire.

Dr. Cheng has the wonderful combination of skills that one wants in a physician. He is medically knowledgeable and takes plenty of time to ask questions and listen to concerns/problems. He has a friendly nature while maintaining a very professional demeanor.
