Dr. GENE MANZETTI should have his medical license revoked by the American Medical Association. He is grossly negligent, was fired from UPMC after several wrongful death suits that UPMC settled. He committed several negligent acts while my family member was under his “care” as a patient at Amon Valley Hospital: including puncturing her lung, breaking her rib cage, and cutting accidentally into her heart. She went into the hospital to have pneumonia treated. We did not press criminal or civil charges because my family member was thankful to escape alive. I write this to hope others can avoid being under his knife!!

He is a great DR ..a few times i was in the er and needed a pic line he was there quick,and he is so great at doing his job..i would recomend him to anyone!

Dr Manzetti saved my husbands life. If he didn't do what he did at that time, he would have lost his foot. Dr. Manzetti did a fasciotomy on his leg to get circulation flowing. My husband had some stents put in his upper thigh. A blood clot got stuck in the vein and stopped all circulation down to his foot. If he didn't do this and preceded to let it go instead of saving the foot, my husband would have not been a happy camper. When we first met Dr. Manzetti, he was very serious. As time went on thru our five years of treatment, we found out he has a very funny side to him. We would laugh till we left. Of course he did what he had to do. We have lots of fun with him. We love him and trust him. I also referred my father to him and he helped my Dad with dialysis vein plugs in his arm, so he can hook up to the machine. Sorry, I am not medically speaking here. Once he gets to know you, he will open up. He is great. give him a try. The nurses at the wound clinic are also very… nice and we have gotten to know them in the 5 years we have been going there. Great treatment and caring nurses and desk receptionists.

I've been dealing with dr manzetti for many years. He's not one to push surgery. I went to see him twice a year till we determined we could not wait any longer to do surgery on my esophagus. We are keeping close watch on my eating to make sure it is not getting bad again.
