We came to ER of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary with my mom after she started having blurred vision. The resident was rude and didn't explain us what the problem is. He called Dr Landa. When Dr Landa came in to see my mom, he put us at ease explaining what could be the problem. He was very nice and considerate to our concerns. After Dr Landa examined my mom's retina, he diagnosed retinal detachment. Dr Landa performed surgery next day. Right after the surgery he came to talk to us about the surgery. My mom had a tough postoperative recuperation and had to keep her head down during several weeks after the surgery. Dr Landa was very nice, supportive and reassuring during those tough weeks. My mom had her vision back after the gas bubble dissolved as Dr Landa said. We are very happy to be in good hands of Dr Landa.
