Dr. Genoveva C Prieto, MD

Dr. Prieto has been an attending neonatologist at Miami Children’s Hospital since 1995. She graduated with honors from the University of Malaga, School of Medicine, Spain and completed a pediatric residency training at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, affiliated to Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She also completed a fellowship training in Neonatology at Albert Einstein’s College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, N.Y. During her training, she served as Chief Fellow and participated in research activities. Later she joined the faculty at Albert Einstein’s College of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and attending neonatologist. During this time, Dr. Prieto also served as an attending for the LEAP Clinic (Low Birth Weight Infant Evaluation and Assessment Program) and Adjunct Visiting Professor at Lehman College, Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and board-eligible in Neonatology.
